About Us

Ubuntu Base is a non-profit organisation that celebrates and promotes African culture in Sweden. Rooted in the Ubuntu philosophy — "I am because we are" — we create inclusive and safe spaces for shared experiences through dance, music, food, and creative expression. Our mission is to foster cultural exchange, strengthen community bonds, and support the personal development through workshops, events, and collaborations. We build bridges between cultures and contribute to a more vibrant and diverse cultural scene.
