Film Description

Marie, an Ivorian pastor and former journalist, lives in Tunis, where she takes in Naney and Jolie. Naney is a young mother searching for a better future, and Jolie is a determined student who carries the hopes of her family who remain in their homeland. When the three women take care of Kenza, a 4-year-old who survived a shipwreck, their refuge is transformed into a loving yet uneasy newly formed family in an increasingly troubling social climate.

Migration within Africa; foten overshadowed by migration to Europe, is portrayed insightfully by Erige Sehiri, whose script is based on real destinies. With solidarity, humor, and strikingly beautiful cinematography, we follow the lives of the three women in a Tunisia marked by racism and repression against immigrants.
